Carinda Trip 2021

Greg and Margi Pearson will be leading a Grade F (F for FUN of course!) trip out to Carinda over the October long weekend to catch the David Bowie Festival. The trip runs from Thursday 30 September to Monday 4 October, with the highlight of the weekend being a two-day concert event celebrating with the locals in the town where David Bowie filmed his iconic music video for ‘Let’s Dance’.
Other activities will include visiting local sheep stations, artesian bores, an oversize police station, and more.
It will take two days to arrive in Carinda, which is around 730 km from Sydney, with a night camping along the way. Accommodation at Carinda will be camping at the Carinda showgrounds, which is suitable for tents, camper vans and caravans. The trip concludes on Monday, when everyone will drive home.
