Imagine a trip to Hill End without the Bridle Track!
We will start at Lithgow, drive past Lake Lyell and Rydal, through Sunny Corner and Dark Corner to Sofala via the Upper Turon. Very pretty scenery, and some very pretty gates to open and close. On to Hill End and overnight at the Hill End Holiday Ranch. All levels of accommodation, from ensuite cabins to unpowered tent sites, are available at the Ranch.
The next day we drive to Orange via Ophir, with some low-range fun and a rough river crossing. We will drive to the top of Mt Canobolas (facing West, nothing is higher until Africa) and have lunch at a great winery.
