COOPER CREEK & MORE

The catchment for Lake Eyre is huge.  The Cooper Creek bit starts between Charters Towers and Hughenden going from a spring to a creek to a river, back to a creek and then, sometimes, getting to Lake Eyre.

The plan is to start at Lake Eyre and work slowly upstream, trying to camp two nights at most places to give time to relax, bird watch, study nature, kayak, fish.  We’ll be camping in National Parks and Conservation Areas.

The trip will take about 4 weeks, but for those that are time constrained it has the potential to be a hop on - hop off trip.

ALL BRITISH DAY

KINGS SCHOOLS PARRAMATTA

It's on again and tickets remain at $10.00 per vehicle admission, with proceeds to charity.

Tickets available at Club meetings from May.

Our Club will have a wonderful display with Land Rover vehicles surrounding our Club marquees.

A real picnic atmosphere for all the family. If you haven't been to All British Day before, you will be amazed at the number of magnificent British vehicles assembled here. For many of us, it's certainly a walk down memory lane. There are also many automotive parts, accessories and book stalls as well as food, drink and coffee stands.

In addition to the fantastic display of vehicles, this is also The Kings School Spring Festival. There is something for everyone, including High Tea, Jewelery, Art and Craft Markets, Art Exhibitions and the Land Growers Market.
