Trip: Introductory Members Trip

Mountain Backroads
An easy day trip through some of the picturesque backroads of the Lower Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury.  This trip visits a number of points of interest traveling over paved country roads, forest lanes and dirt tracks.  Bring along your morning tea and lunch and enjoy a day out in the country with other Club members.  Your RR or Disco will also enjoy the day out!

Cumberland State Forest

10.00am till 3.30pm

This little known gem of a forest at West Pennant Hills will be open to the public to wander amongst the trees, sniff the clean air, listen to the birds, take refreshments in the tea room, and say hullo to Club members who have set up a typical camp demonstration for the day in the forest.   An educational experience for adults and children, and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the forest.   Entry is from Castle Hill Road.

INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

DARLING HARBOUR EXHIBITION CENTRE

The bi-annual Motor Show comes to Sydney and your chance to see the NEW Range Rover Evoque

which will be on show in Australia for the first time.    Introduced in 2008 as the LRX Concept Car the all-new compact Range Rover Evoque is due for release in 2011 and is claimed to be the company’s smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient model ever produced..

Learn the capabilities of your vehicle with the format combining two techniques on the same day under the guidance of our driver training team.  A fun day and educational.

Trip: Clean-up Stockton Beach

SEE RED OVER RUBBISH

Once again the Club will be giving back to the community with the annual Stockton Beach Clean-Up day.

Along with other 4WD clubs this is a good family day collecting and bagging rubbish left and washed up on the beach.   Great prizes to be won with a free BBQ lunch and free access to the beach.   Spend the morning working, and then enjoy the rest of the day driving along the beach.  This will be the 15th year of RRC participation at Stockton helping clean up our Club’s sand driving area and one of the best 4WD destinations close to Sydney.  Details and bookings with Ian Baseby
